This Privacy Policy explains how The Andrew Company (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Doable app for iOS and macOS (“Doable” or the “App”). We’ve tried to keep this short and readable.
Who we are
Doable is operated by The Andrew Company, a Delaware limited liability company. You can reach us at support@trydoable.com.
Information we collect
Account information. Doable uses Sign in with Apple for sign-in. When you sign up, Apple provides us with your name and an email address. At signup, Apple lets you choose whether to share your real email or a private relay address that forwards to you without revealing your actual email. We store whichever you provide. We never see or store your Apple password.
Project content. Doable stores the content you create in the App — your projects, plans, tasks, open questions, decisions, and chats. This is the core of what the App is for, and it lives in our backend (Google Firebase / Firestore) so it can sync across your devices and to collaborators you invite.
Usage analytics. We collect basic usage and diagnostic information to understand how the App is performing and to fix problems. This data is associated with an anonymized Firebase installation ID, which is an identifier assigned to your installation of the App. This ID is not tied to your name or email, but because it can identify a specific installation, it may be considered personal information.
We do not collect payment information. Doable is free to use during the launch period.
How we use AI
A central feature of Doable is an AI agent that helps you build and refine plans. To provide this, the content you send to the agent — your chat messages and relevant project context, including any media you upload — is transmitted to third-party AI providers for processing. We currently use Anthropic and Google, accessed through OpenRouter, and Google directly for image generation.
You should know: OpenRouter does not log your prompts or completions, and we have disabled any providers that would use your content to train AI models. How long the underlying providers retain content sent for processing varies by provider — some enforce zero data retention, while others keep it for a limited period for abuse-monitoring and operational purposes before deleting it.
How your content is shared
Doable supports collaboration. When you invite someone to a project, they can see the content within it — including plans, tasks, and chats, and content generated by the AI agent. You’re responsible for what you choose to put into a shared project and for who you invite. We don’t make any of your content public.
We don’t sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that make the App work (e.g., Apple for sign-in, Google Firebase for storage, our AI providers for processing) and only as needed to provide the App, or where required by law.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. To delete your account and associated data, email us at support@trydoable.com. Note that backups and our AI providers’ temporary retention (described above) may persist for a short additional period before being purged.
Children
Doable is not intended for anyone under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the App, contact us at support@trydoable.comand we’ll delete the account.
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing support@trydoable.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we’ll honor applicable requests.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
